No. We’re an independent publisher. We don’t process visa applications, and we don’t represent any single agency, school, or embassy. We write guides and disclosed reviews.

Two ways: affiliate commissions when you click through to a partner (an agency, test-prep provider, or similar) and sign up or purchase, and referral fees when you use our agency ‘match me’ form. We never charge readers to access a guide.

No. We link to official sources, like government visa portals, embassy pages, and institution websites, wherever a figure or rule comes from one, and we date those citations. Always confirm exact requirements with the relevant embassy or institution before you apply. Rules change, and they’re the only authority that can give you a final answer.

No. Agencies cannot pay for a review or for placement in the review itself. Some agencies are separately affiliate partners, meaning we earn a commission if you sign up through our link, that relationship is disclosed directly on their review, not buried in a footer.

We prioritize agencies that Filipino students actually ask us about, or that come up often in our own research. Being reviewed is not an endorsement by itself, so read the review itself to see how an agency scored and why.

It marks a fact, figure, or claim our editorial team has checked against a source and dated. It is not a rating of an agency’s quality. A verified chip on a guide means the number next to it was confirmed as of the date shown, nothing more.

An agency can flag a factual error, and if they’re right, we correct it and note the update. What they can’t do is pay for a better score, or have an unfavorable review taken down because they don’t like it. Kung mali kami, itatama namin, but the review stays honest either way.

Guides carry a last verified date that’s separate from the page’s last edit. That’s the date our editorial team last checked the figures and rules against their sources, not just the date someone fixed a typo. We recheck guides periodically, but visa and cost rules can change between checks, so always confirm current requirements on the official source before you act.

Please tell us. Use the contact page to flag the specific page and figure, and we’ll review it and correct it if it’s wrong. Corrections get a visible update, not a quiet edit.

Yes. Every guide is written to be usable on its own, and our apply-without-an-agency guides walk through the steps you’d otherwise pay someone else to do. Whether an agency is worth it for you depends on your situation, and we try to lay out that trade-off honestly instead of assuming you need one.

We’re building out guides country by country, starting with the destinations Filipino students ask us about most. Check the country hub pages in the main menu for what’s live right now. New countries get added as guides are researched and verified.

Every figure that comes from an outside source, like a visa fee, a tuition estimate, or an exchange rate, carries a source note with where it came from and when we checked it, right under the number. Government fees and requirements change, and exchange rates move daily, so treat the figures on this site as a planning reference and confirm the current number on the official source before you pay anything or submit an application.
